Diane Wilson
Diane Wilson is a Director of Rex Hall Community Interest Company. She was previoulsy a Lead Associate for Rex Hall Associates and had responsibility for overseeing quality development and assurance across the 162 PfS learning centres. This included ensuring quality procedures are in place for evaluation, business planning and reporting to DfE. Her role extended to the leadership of regional PfS ‘Advanced Hub’ teams that were responsibility for developing and quality assuring Study Support and Extended Services provision using national frameworks and quality assurance schemes including QiSS, QES and Tribal QM.
Diane provides English advisory support for English Subject Leaders in secondary schools across a London authority as part of raising achievement and school improvement processes. This role involves the development of schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum as well as the embedding of robust assessment procedures to monitor and track pupil progress.
Diane was formerly joint Director of Quality in Study Support, a Secondary Deputy Headteacher and Curriculum Manager for English and Drama. She led the development of the Quality in Study Support recognition process. She has contributed to a range of publications and has written Masters’ level courses on Critical Friendship for Canterbury Christ Church University. She was one of the principle writers of the recently published national framework for ‘Extending Learning Opportunities’.
