Rex Hall Associates Ltd was formed in the Summer of 2003. The company provides Educational Consultancy throughout the UK, with specific expertise in Study Support, Extended Schools, personalised learning, charity fund raising and school achievement involving voluntary sector partners.
In 2004 Rex Hall Associates Ltd was awarded two major contracts which the company continues to deliver through its fourteen consultants.
The company was awarded a Department for Education and Skills (DfES) contract to provide consultancy work to the 'Playing for Success' initiative. Rex Hall Associates Ltd consultants provide Critical Friend support and training to the 162 committed PfS centres. The Critical Friend works closely with centres to develop good practice and to provide non-managerial support to the organisation of the centre.
The Football Foundation awarded Rex Hall Associates Ltd a contract to expand Critical Friend support to their football clubs throughout the UK to do this work on the Foundation's behalf.
The majority of the team of consultants are recognised nationally by Quality in Study Support (QiSS) as critical friends which enables Rex Hall Associates Ltd to provide appropriate staffing at chair level to support the QiSS self-assessment scheme, run by CELSI at all levels, including Advanced.
Rex Hall Associates Ltd continues to provide support to individual Local Authorities nationally, including Nottingham City, Cornwall and Sunderland through the DfES Quality Development Programme (QDP), which is funded by DfES via CELSI.
